Enniskillen stall part of national campaign

26 Nov

The street stall in Enniskillen tomorrow is but part of the Yes campaign that is going from strength to strength with Yes campaigners out and about up and down the UK. It’s still not too late to sign up – or just turn up and help.

Kicking off on Thursday evening, we have planning meetings taking place in Cardiff, Bristol and Plymouth. The Christmas lights will be switched on in March, Cambridgeshire on Friday evening and a group of Yes supporters plan to engage with the crowds.

On Saturday, street stalls are planned for Enniskillen in Northern Ireland, Hastings, the Stoke Newington Farmers’ Market in Hackney, Barkingside in East London and North Finchley. Supporters will also be out and about working the crowds at the Wokingham Winter Carnival on Sunday.

But it doesn’t end there. Oxford Fairer Votes are holding a public meeting in Oxford Town Hall on Monday which will be addressed by a cross party panel of speakers. On Tuesday, planning meetings will be taking place in Swansea and Edinburgh while on Wednesday there will be further meetings taking place in Birmingham (which will go on to a group Christmas dinner) and Sheffield.

The momentum is building up and down the UK, across the four nations. If you are interested in getting something started in your area we can help you by promoting it to our growing list of supporters. Whether you want to organise a major public meeting or just a discussion evening in a local pub, your first step is to register your event’s details on the events section of the Yes to Fairer Votes website.
